Tver Fund “Hope” held a charity event.

On November 20, a charity evening in honor of the “world children’s day” was held in the restaurant “Governor”. The organizer was the charitable Foundation “Hope” helping children with cerebral palsy. The event was held in the new event hall of the Governor hotel, children’s and creative teams performed, a win-win lottery was held. The main result was the accumulation of funds from Tver patrons, who spared no money to help children suffering from cerebral palsy.

During the four years of activity of the charitable Foundation “Nadezhda” a tremendous work has been done. With the General assistance of all participants of the project, more than 100 children in need of rehabilitation were provided. Currently, six classes for children with cerebral palsy are open and working in Tver. Back in 2016, Tver did not have a single specialized class. Children’s rehabilitation platforms in boarding schools of the city of Tver were opened. A special car was purchased for children with disabilities who move in special wheelchairs. A vaccine against human papillomavirus has been purchased for girls who are in foster care. The total amount of assistance to children, which managed to accumulate the Fund “Hope” is close to 20 million rubles.

The founder of the charity Fund “Hope” is Nadezhda Abela, who lives permanently in London, but does not forget about her Homeland and helps sick children in Tver in every possible way.
