Charitable Foundation Nadezda held a charity event in Tver

The Nadezhda Charitable Foundation for Children together with Grand Hotel Zvezda held an event dedicated to World Children’s Day. Traditionally, on this day various actions, demonstrations, seminars, awards for human rights defenders and fundraisers by charitable foundations are held. Therefore, the main goal of the holiday was to raise funds to pay for the treatment course of the Foundation’s ward – Valeria Nekrasova.

Julia Trokhan, Director of the Foundation, opened the event by thanking the guests and telling the story of the girl Valeria Nekrasova. A congratulatory message from the head of the city of Tver was heard. Ilya Fast, Commercial Director of Grand Hotel Zvezda, congratulated everyone present on such a necessary holiday and expressed hope for further cooperation with the Charitable Foundation Nadezda in the field of charity.

The Tver School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children No. 1, a trustee of the Charitable Foundation Nadezda, took part in the festive concert. They performed numbers that they are presenting at the All-Russian competition of sign language singing “Singing Hands” in St. Petersburg. The performance at the festival for two years in a row is financed by “Nadezhda” Charitable Foundation, the students of the school twice became laureates of this competition. Fyodor Sergeev and Alina Surovova, small athletes engaged in ballroom dancing, also demonstrated their achievements.

Evgenia Kalymova, a participant of the show “The Voice-Children”, performed amazing songs, and Valentin Abushaev, the winner of regional and laureate of Russian recitation contests, mesmerized the guests with a heartfelt reading of a fascinating story. By the way, all children, performing in front of the guests this evening, received many gifts from the partners of the event. The culmination of the celebration was the presentation of an incredibly beautiful cake made by Natalia Baranova, a friend of the Foundation. At the end of the evening the host Alexey Markov conducted a prize draw, which has become traditional at all events of the Nadezhda Charitable Foundation. The guests won nice prizes from the founder of the fund – Nadezhda Trokhan-Abel, author’s works by Natalia Obraztsova and Alexandra Smirnova, as well as certificates and souvenirs from the partners of the event. All treats for the guests were kindly provided by the Grand Café restaurant.

Summarizing the results, we can confidently say that World Children’s Day in Tver was easy and relaxed, leaving positive emotions among the participants of the holiday, and most importantly, with the help of 97,000 rubles collected at the event paid for rehabilitation in the RC “I will go myself” (Samara) for four-year-old Valeria Nekrasova. Already on January 22, the girl will go for treatment, with the help of which she will be one step closer to a healthy, full life!
