On November 6 in London, the Nadezhda Charitable Foundation held its first charity gala dinner, which raised £74,000. The guest of honor for the evening was Nana Yakovenko, wife of the Russian Ambassador to the UK and a longtime friend of the foundation.
The founder of the Foundation, Nadezhda Abela, told the guests about the work of the Foundation and the projects to be implemented in 2019. In particular, she announced that all next year the Foundation will help educational and medical institutions of Tver and Tver region. One of the major projects is the purchase of specialized neurosurgical equipment for the Children’s Regional Hospital of Tver.
The guests took part in a prize draw and auction, one of the lots of which was a gift from Roman Abramovich and Chelsea Football Club.
