International Day for the Protection of Children

Yesterday afternoon (01.06.2016) in London The Square played host to a meaningful ladies lunch to honour International Day for the Protection of Children. Nadya Abela and Tanya Lewin O’Cuinn hosted 70 women (three men and a priest) for lunch in order to raise funds and awareness of her charity Nadezda – Hope – which helps vulnerable children affected by illnesses and disabilities through and financial support for further education. Donations from the ticket sales and raffle went towards specialised medical chairs which will ensure that come September 1st children with disabilities from Tver, Russia (Nadya’s home town) will be able to attend their local school.
