On November 20, a charity evening in honor of “World Children’s Day” was held in the restaurant “Governor”. The organizer was the Charitable Foundation Nadezda helping children with cerebral palsy. The event was held in the new hall for events of the hotel “Governor”, children’s, creative groups performed, a win-win lottery was held. The main result was the accumulation of funds from Tver patrons who spared no expense to help children suffering from cerebral palsy.

Over the four years of the Nadezhda Charitable Foundation’s activity, a tremendous amount of work has been done. With the common help of all project participants, assistance was organized for more than 100 children in need of rehabilitation. Currently, six classes for children with cerebral palsy are open and working in Tver. Back in 2016, there was not a single specialized class in Tver. Children’s rehabilitation sites were opened in boarding schools in Tver. A special vehicle was purchased for children with disabilities who move in special wheelchairs. A vaccine against human papilloma virus was purchased for girls who are in foster families. The total amount of assistance to children that the Nadezhda Foundation has managed to accumulate is approaching 20 million rubles.

The founder of the charity fund 2Najeda is Nadezhda Abela, who lives permanently in London, but does not forget about her homeland and helps sick children in Tver in every possible way.
